QuickRemove is a Windows desktop application that runs AI models locally on your computer. Below are the minimum and recommended system requirements. Meeting the recommended specs will give you faster processing, especially for batch jobs and high-resolution images.
Operating System
Windows 10 or later (64-bit only). QuickRemove does not support 32-bit Windows, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1. Windows 11 is fully supported.
Minimum vs Recommended Specifications
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 (64-bit) | Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) |
| CPU | Any modern x64 processor | Intel Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 or better |
| RAM | 8 GB | 16 GB or more |
| GPU | None (CPU fallback) | NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel GPU with 4+ GB VRAM |
| Disk Space | 500 MB free | 2 GB free (for models + temp files) |
| Display | 1280 x 720 | 1920 x 1080 or higher |
GPU Acceleration
QuickRemove supports GPU acceleration for significantly faster processing. Supported vendors:
- NVIDIA — CUDA-compatible GPUs (GeForce, Quadro, RTX series)
- AMD — DirectML-compatible GPUs (Radeon RX series, etc.)
- Intel — Intel GPUs with DirectML support (integrated and discrete)
If no compatible GPU is detected, QuickRemove automatically falls back to CPU processing. CPU mode works but is slower, especially for 4K images and large batches. We recommend at least 4 GB of VRAM for smooth 4K and batch processing.

RAM (Memory)
8 GB RAM is the minimum. For batch processing, 4K images, or multitasking while QuickRemove runs, 16 GB or more is recommended. The AI models load into memory, and each image being processed consumes additional RAM.
Disk Space
The application itself requires around 200–300 MB. AI models add several hundred MB. For batch processing, we recommend at least 2 GB free to accommodate temporary files and large exports.
.NET and Dependencies
QuickRemove is built on .NET. The installer includes or prompts for any required .NET runtime. Windows 10 and 11 typically have compatible runtimes pre-installed; if not, the setup will guide you through installation.
Input Format Support
Supported input formats: PNG, JPG, WEBP, BMP, GIF, TIFF, HEIC/HEIF. All processing is done locally — no cloud services required.
Does QuickRemove Work on Older Hardware?
Yes, as long as you meet the minimum requirements. CPU-only mode will work on older systems without a compatible GPU, but processing will be slower. For the best experience on limited hardware, stick to 1080p images and smaller batches.
