Background Options in QuickRemove
After QuickRemove's AI removes the original background, you have four options:
1. Transparent
Keep the background transparent and export as PNG. Use this when you plan to place the image into another design, document, or website where the surrounding content should show through.
2. Solid Color
Replace the background with any solid color. QuickRemove includes a full color picker with:
- HSV color spectrum for visual selection
- Hex, RGB, and HSV value input for precise colors
- Screen eyedropper tool to pick any color from your screen
- Recent colors memory for quick access to previously used colors
Popular choices include white (for product photos and e-commerce), neutral gray (for headshots), and brand colors.
3. Gradient Backgrounds
Apply a smooth color transition behind your subject. QuickRemove supports:
- Linear gradients — color transitions from one side to another
- Radial gradients — color transitions from center outward (or vice versa)
Gradients add depth and visual interest without being distracting. They're popular for portraits, headshots, and social media content.
4. Custom Image Backgrounds
Replace the background with any image. Drop in a landscape, studio backdrop, texture, or branded background. The subject is placed on top of the new background for a seamless composite.
